There have been so many moments in my life when I’ve tried to walk this road on my own. I thought I had the strength, the answers, and the direction. But time after time, I found myself lost, exhausted, and wondering how I got so far off course. And every time every single time, God reached out His hand to remind me: “You’re not alone. I’ve been here all along.” God doesn’t scold us for wandering; He gently calls us back. He walks beside us when we’re unsure, and He goes ahead of us to prepare the way. Even when we try to lead, He lovingly shows us that His way is better, that His plans are always for our good. We may try to take control, but God patiently waits for us to surrender. When we stop interfering and let Him truly lead, peace replaces confusion, strength rises in our weakness, and we begin to walk in purpose not just motion. So today, let this be our reminder: we’re never alone, not for a moment. God has our back, and He’s guiding us every step of the way.

Reflection:

  • Where have I been trying to take the lead instead of letting God guide?
  • How can I be more intentional about trusting God’s direction in my life?
  • What obstacles or distractions are keeping me from fully surrendering?

Prayer: Father, thank You for never leaving my side. Thank You for walking with me even when I tried to walk alone. Your presence is my peace, and Your grace is my strength. I’m so grateful that You continue to take my hand and lead me, even when I get in the way.  Today, I surrender my plans, my fears, and my need for control. Remove anything that hinders my walk with You every distraction, every fear, every obstacle. Thank You for Your grace, Your mercy, and the blessings I often take for granted. I trust You to keep leading me, and I’ll follow with an open heart. In Jesus’ name, amen.
