But Isaiah 60:1 comes with a divine command and a promise: arise, shine. This isn’t a gentle suggestion—it’s a spiritual awakening.

✨ Arise

To arise is to get up from where you’ve been. It’s a call to movement, a shift in posture from stagnation to strength. God is saying, “No more lying dormant. No more playing small. No more letting fear or doubt paralyze you.” You’ve been planted, not buried. And now is the time to grow.

To shine is to illuminate—to reflect the glory and presence of God that is within you. You are not called to blend in; you are called to be a light in darkness.
